One strong department: DTU Skylab and DTU Entrepreneurship are merging

As from 1 January 2027, DTU Skylab and DTU Entrepreneurship will be merged into one new department. This will ensure even closer collaboration between education, research, and innovation at DTU and strengthen the capacity for translating knowledge and technology into new businesses.

NASA’s Mars rover carrying DTU equipment sets new record in space

NASA’s Mars rover Perseverance has now travelled further than any other vehicle beyond Earth. DTU Space has supplied camera and positioning equipment for the mission, contributing to the exploration of Mars and the search for signs of ancient life.

Grant award to improve predictions of extreme rainfall

Anders Stockmarr from DTU Compute and Peter Steen Mikkelsen from DTU Sustain have been awarded DKK 4.44 million from the Villum Synergy programme for an interdisciplinary collaboration on statistical models that can support better decision-making on climate adaptation measures in Denmark and neighbouring regions.

11 researchers from DTU have just received Villum Synergy grants from the Villum Foundation for interdisciplinary research projects that combine data science and AI with other fields.
