DTU-street named after one of Denmarks first female engineers

In 1897, 24-year-old Agnes Nielsen was one of the first female engineers to graduate from Polyteknisk Læreanstalt (DTU). Now, a street at DTU Lyngby Campus has been named after her.

Agnes Nielsens Vej is located at the northern end of the 3rd quadrant of DTU Lyngby Campus and connects Anker Engelunds Vej with Fysikvej and Asmussens Allé. Photo: DTU.
